More than a dozen digital works by artist Andy Warhol have been discovered on 1985′s Amiga floppy disks.
The digital images were discovered and recovered by staff and students who are members of Carnegie Mellon University’s computer club. A complex three-year project was required to recover the images which were saved in an obscure data format.
A short documentary about the team’s work in recovering the Warhol images will premiere at the Carnegie Library Lecture Hall in Pittsburgh on May 10 and will be available online at NowSeeThis on May 12. More.
