‘Heavenly Bodies- Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’ will be the theme of 2018’s fashion exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, it was confirmed today.
Costume Institute curator in charge Andrew Bolton aims to show how “material Christianity” has helped form “the Catholic imagination.”
Also impressive are Anna Wintour’s 2018 co-hosts for this year’s Met Gala: Amal Clooney, Rihanna, and Donatella Versace.
The exhibition will launch on May 10, following the gala opening on May 7.
