One-room hotels are currently popping up around the world. Tucked away on the banks of the Rio Sado in Portugal, these two former fishing huts were remodeled by architect Manuel Aires Mateus in 2013.
Designed by Philippe Starck, the One Room Hotel sits in the science fiction-esque Polish television tower Park Praha which rises to over 216 meters high.
Sitting on the roof of the Queen Elizabeth Hall, A Room for London is a quaint wooden boat in the center of London, that has been welcoming guests since 2012.
